Oshawn is a globally sought-after advisor focused on the strategic threading of complex problem-solving at intersections of academia, industry, and people innovation. Oshawn is an Air Force veteran and has instructed more than 11,000 students and industry leaders during his time as a business consultant, Air War College Instructor, and community volunteer. Oshawn is an innovative leader, penning, Enhancing the Global Mindset in Military Public Affairs, for the book, Intercultural Public Relations: Realities and Reflections in Practical Context (2022) and, To Research, Grow and Think: The Proof is in the A.I.M., for the upcoming Uncertainty Playbook (2023) from Grey Swan Guild. Oshawn has traveled to over 10 countries across four continents, speaking to governments, civil society, and corporates on inclusive leadership, the Position Me mindset, and achieving substantive change.

Oshawn Jefferson is a consultant, author, competitive strategist, and keynote speaker with more than twenty-five years of international business experience across a wide range of industries: defense, technology, learning and development, professional services, diversity, inclusion, equity, and accessibility, government services computers and technology, and research. As a business consultant, he has advised corporate executives, government officials, and industry associations. Oshawn has also served on boards of directors for many nonprofit organizations.

Oshawn has served as a Communication Education Manager and Instructor for the Center for Strategic Leadership Communication at The Air University, he was a Senior Course Instructor and curriculum designer at the Defense Information School and worked with several Fortune 1000 corporations as a business consultant. He holds a Resilience Building Leader Program-Training, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion in the Workplace, and Empathetic Leadership Facilitator Certifications and has been retained expert speaker and trainer for more than 100 conferences, webinars, and corporate events.

In 2017, Oshawn founded DEAL SOLUTIONS GROUP, LLC, a professional consulting firm assisting large and middle-market companies in addressing strategic solutions and innovative initiatives. Approximately one-third of his work has been for government and Department of Defense clients. For three years, Oshawn has been in partnership with Courageous Leadership Alliance and Shared Air Solutions Consultants, a firm looking to bring clean indoor air quality to communities across the globe. He has authored and co-authored business publications and continues to write articles. In 2021, Oshawn was an Education and Social Action Committee co-chair for the virtual Selma Bridge Crossing. In 2023, he participated in a Real Estate Incubator to ideate the future of sustainable homes for people living in Midland and Odessa, Texas with Texas Tech University. Oshawn asserts, "We can study the thoughts that mankind studies." Oshawn has a passion for partnering with people and organizations seeking new approaches and strategies that impact the globe.
